Google VS AltaVista translate machine
Do you agree with me that translate work is very difficult? Yes, it is very difficult. Because I try it before. Sometimes,you don’t know what the best word to choose for translating! Today,I do some translate experiment by 2 translate machine.That is translate.google.com and world.altavista.com. So, maybe you will want to know, which machine is more specific?Let me tell you=)

I choose my site JoshuaUn.com to test them.Why joshuaun.com? Because my English is Malaydianeselish. So, if they can translate my English, it means this machine is intelligent. Because they can avoid all the grammar error , spelling error , and some strange noun! For example, supercalifragilisticexpealidocious!!!!!!!
OK,let’s see what happend…
This is Google’s translate
If you can read chinese word, then you can straight away know, what had happend. They translate “link to database” is 100% correct! Most I like is I write “we try until half die also no use” , this is not English but this translated sentence is exactly what I want! Almost 98% correct! Amazing!
This is AltaVista’s translate
I don’t like this translation, I give them less than 50% correct. Some simple sentence, just like Merdurian want to sell domain name and “April Fool” also wrong ………….. Feel so depress about this translation!And also, still have many English word have not yet translate…..
My two cents:
Language is a art! Our life full of art because we own the language! Translation is a funny event. After compare this 2 machine, I more confident to Google! Yes, Google is my favourite! =)
